Water crisis in several parts of Bhopal city has further deteriorated. The majorly affected areas include complete North and South T.T. Nagar, Tulsi Nagar, Shivaji Nagar, Nehru Nagar, Kotra, Harshvardhan, In the BHEL surroundings, Indrapuri and Subhash Nagar including their surroundings are also facing severe shortage. Shahjahanbad and Kazi Camp area in the old city are also getting short supply.

Bhopal Municipal Corporation takes around 3.40 lakh gallon water from Kolar Dam daily which is still not enough to feed the 1.5 million poplutation of entire city during summer. Most of the places are now getting water for only 15-20 min every alternate day and that too with low pressure.

The crisis is expected to further deteriorate in coming days.
