Birla Mandir (Lakshmi Narayan Temple)

The Birla Mandir, dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Narayan, sits atop a rocky hill in Arera Hills and offers one of the finest panoramic views of Bhopal - both the Upper and Lower lakes spread out below. Built in white marble by the Birla Foundation, the temple complex also houses the Birla Museum with medieval sculptures. The evening aarti is particularly atmospheric.
