Moti Masjid
About this place
Moti Masjid, meaning Pearl Mosque, was built by Sikander Begum in the mid-19th century. Modelled after the Jama Masjid of Delhi, it is one of the finest examples of Mughal-influenced architecture in central India. Its red sandstone facade with white marble domes and twin minarets is striking. Located in the Chowk area in Old Bhopal.
