The Raja Bhoj statue, erected in the middle of the Upper Lake, is the most iconic symbol of Bhopal. Depicting Raja Bhoj of the Paramara dynasty, the statue is dramatically lit at night and best viewed from the Lake View Road promenade at sunset.
