Shaukat Mahal & Sadar Manzil
About this place
Shaukat Mahal is an extraordinary piece of architecture that blends European Gothic and Renaissance styles with traditional Mughal design. Built in the 19th century during the Bhopal Nawab era, it stands at the entrance of the Chowk bazaar. Adjacent Sadar Manzil served as the Hall of Public Audience. Together they form one of the most photogenic heritage corners of central India.
