About this place
Bharat Bhawan is a multi-arts complex built on the banks of the Upper Lake, designed by architect Charles Correa. It houses Roopankar (tribal art gallery), Rangmandal (repertory theatre), an open-air amphitheatre, and Vagarth (library of Indian poetry). It hosts the annual Lokrang festival every January.
