Taj-ul-Masajid
About this place
Taj-ul-Masajid translates literally to "The Crown of Mosques". Its construction was started by Nawab Shah Jahan Begum of Bhopal and continued by her daughter Sultan Jahan Begum. It is one of the largest mosques in Asia, featuring a grand pink façade, massive 18-storey high octagonal minarets, and a vast courtyard that can accommodate over 100,000 worshippers.
