Bhopal Gets 4th ABC Centre

A new Animal Birth Control (ABC) centre is set to open at Bhanpur Khanti in Bhopal, aiming to boost stray dog sterilisation in the city. This initiative comes as a response to the rising number of dog bite cases in Bhopal. The Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC) has allocated ₹30 lakh for the project, which is expected to curb the increasing incidence of dog bites and subsequent rabies shots. The centre will be the fourth of its kind in the city, underscoring the BMC's efforts to address the stray dog population. By establishing this centre, the BMC hopes to create a safer environment for Bhopal's residents.
