A mother-son duo, who are accused in the Twisha Sharma death case, have been sent to 14-day judicial custody. The duo, Twisha's mother and her son, were produced before the Special CBI Court in Bhopal after their CBI remand ended.
Former judge Giribala Singh and her son Samarth Singh were given a 14-day judicial custody. They were earlier in CBI custody, but it ended after five days. The CBI has now completed its investigation and handed over the duo to the judicial custody.
They will be kept in standard prison barracks without any special privileges. The judicial custody will run for 14 days, during which the duo will have to face further legal proceedings in the Twisha Sharma case.
